Me.

JohnEdwa, John_Edward and Jonne Kuusela - the one and same. A Finnish geek, born in 1990. Interested in electronics, radio controlled stuff and guns. And hamsters. Especially hamsters.

As for a CV, the short version is:

• Human Language Skills:

  • Native Finnish, competent English, very basics of Swedish and Japanese.

• Computer Language Skills:

  • Very good grasp of C, some competence in Java, C++ and Python.

• Markup Language Skills:

  • Competent in HTML, CSS and Markdown.

• Electronics:

  • Very steady hands at soldering up to 0603 SMD and 0.5mm pitch.
  • Basics of PCB layout and design.
  • A lot of experience tinkering with Arduino projects and modifying electronics.

• Education:

  • Graduated Elektroniikka-asentaja (Electronics Technician) from Omnia Vocational School
  • Final year Bachelor of Engineering student at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.

• Work Experience:

  • A year of Non-Military Service at Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department - IT support and projects such as a VOIP system installation, and basic office work.
  • Four Months Work Experience at Atea - Recycling, maintaining and installation of computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Ten years as the emergency standby substitute for coal/coke sampling and IT support at Finncarbon Trading Oy (Family business)
• Other stuff:
  • B-class driving licence.
